Job Description

iLoF, Porto- and Oxford-based, Artificial Intelligence and Photonics enabled Health tech company, is seeking an Engineer with background and experience in Data Science, Signal Processing and Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning.

Responsibilities:
- Develop necessary scripts to run data analysis (classification, summarization and topic extraction using state-of-the-art machine learning techniques);
- Develop signal processing and features creation pipelines;
- Conduct tests on data platforms;
- Maintain the data mining solution libraries, data visualization and analytics results.

Qualifications:
Background: Computer Science or Biomedical Engineering/Bioengineering or Electrical Engineering

Requisites:
- Work experience: > 1 year;
- Knowledge about signal processing pipelines (preferably applied to biological-based signals);
- Hands-on experience with Features Engineering, Machine Learning/Artificial Intelligence/Deep learning approaches (models creation, validation, testing);
- Experience with the following programming /scripting languages: Python, Matlab, R, C;
- Deep knowledge about statistical methods, analysis and mathematical modeling;
- Experience in developing data structures (databases) and algorithms and relevant metrics  to support decisions;
- Experience with cloud-based AI pipelines;
- Open-minded, Hands-on attitude and good command of English language.
