On July 23rd 2020,  Sofia Pereira, student of the 1st edition of the Master in Data Science, at Faculty of Science of University of Porto, successfully defended her master's dissertation, entitled "Remote Sensing and Machine Learning Tools for Vegetation Monitoring".

The jury was composed by:

- Sara Silva, Principal Investigator of the Department of Informatics of the Faculty of Science of the University of Lisbon (Examiner);

- João Pedro Pedroso, Assistant Professor at the Department of Computer Science, Faculty of Science of the University of Porto (Supervisor);

- Rita Ribeiro, Assistant Professor at the Department of Computer Science, Faculty of Science of the University of Porto (President).
